A native of South America, Anthurium bakeri is a tropical evergreen plant. It is a houseplant that is used as decoration and is distinguished by its gorgeous red, pink, or white spathes, which are actually altered leaves. The plant is reasonably simple to maintain and has glossy green rosette-shaped leaves. The ideal soil for Anthurium bakeri is equally moist. Allow the soil to gently dry out between waterings to prevent root rot, which can be caused by overwatering. To prevent wetting the foliage, which might encourage disease, it is recommended to water the plant from the bottom up. This plant prefers direct, strong light. It can withstand mild sunlight, but excessive sunlight will scorch its leaves. Put the plant close to a window that lets in lots of filtered light.
